A Class D Audio Amplifier was developed from a university project. The amplifier has digital switching for two line inputs, one phono input and a tape loop. The output is 100 Watts RMS per channel over the full 20kHz audio band. Efficiency of the amplifier is in the region of 90% and distortion at 1kHz is <0.5%.
