A high power Power Supply was required to provide 13.8v for various pieces of radio equipment. One set requires in excess of 20 Amps on voice peaks.

The design shown is fully protected against over voltage, over current and excess temperature. The unit is also equipped with meters for monitoring output voltage and current. The unit is capable of delivering 30 amps at 13.8 volts continuously.

A second unit was built for a friend, This unit has the same features as the original version except that the output meters were not included thus reducing the cost.
